Inverse wishlist for Naxx25 wings

Please reply to this post when you no longer need drops from the bosses in a particular wing of Naxx25. We will not be tracking specific loot needs. See additional commentary in the first followup below.

Adding your name to these lists is a *positive* factor for Naxx25 invites overall. It is easier for the RL to bring you in for the wings you need if he knows he can bring someone else in your spot for the wings you don't need.

Many boss drops in Naxx25 are classified as "Zone" drops on wowhead because they drop from more than one boss. Here's why:

#1) Gluth. Gluth only drops things dropped by other bosses. For tokens he can drop T7 Shoulders, Legs, and Chest. For everything else I believe the rule is if an item can only drop from one boss in Naxx25, it can also drop from Gluth.

#2) Cross-boss jewelry drops. The following Rings and Necks can each drop from Anub'Rekhan, Patchwerk, Faerlina, Noth, and Razuvious:

Fool's Trial
Heritage
Lost Jewel
Ruthlessness
Sand-Worn Band
Seized Beauty
Strong-Handed Ring
Thunderstorm Amulet

The following Cloaks and Trinkets can each drop from Gothik, Grobbulus, Heigan, and Maexxna:

Aged Winter Cloak
Cloak of Averted Crisis
Cloak of the Shadowed Sun
Defender's Code
Dying Curse
Grim Toll
Forethought Talisman
Shawl of the Old Maid
Shroud of Luminosity

All of these items drop at ~10% from each boss that can drop them. Compare 4-5 chances at 10% to 1 chance at 20% for items that can only drop from one boss (plus another 1% at Gluth). Net result: jewelry is easy to get, armor and weapons are hard.

Since I don't intend to suicide on Ret gear at least for the time being(Unless 3.1 takes forever and I finish my gear list completely), I'm done with the Plague wing completely.

Honestly for me the gear I'm looking for all comes from Kel'Thuzad, aside from either the T7 chest token or the breastplate from Grobbulous. Broken Promise(4 Horsemen) is an upgrade but less of one than Last Laugh.

Please clarify - in the past we were to only list things we would suicide for. I realize you are not planning to track these items, but within the parameters of what was outlined above - should I 'close' wings if there are no suicide quality items? In my case, there are small or specialty upgrades all over the place, but only a few I would be willing to suicide on.

Second point I need clarification on please - I was under the impression we were not allowed to suicide for off spec items? Or at the very least it was considered bad form?

For ease of making the list more simple, they want us to list wings where we DO NOT need any item drops. For example, I already have the T7 shoulders, so there's nothing I need from Plague wing.

As for the second question, I personally am about 4-5 items from having best in slot for everything for tanking, which means that there will be nothing left worth suiciding on at all for me. My comment was merely that I wasn't going to suicide for things after I reach that point.

Yes Torq - the operative word being 'need' as in suicide? or items I would use, but not suicide for? As an exmaple, I have two 213 level rings, but there is one that is even better. I would not suicide for it, but would roll and equip.

To answer Spey's questions: a good rule of thumb would be to list yourself as "done" with a wing when whatever minor upgrades remain no longer justify going there. ie if all 25 of us had the same level of need as you on that wing, and we could get to Sapph/KT while skipping a wing, would we still clear it?

Suicides can be used for whatever you feel is suicide-worthy. And, we expect people to use good judgment regarding who else is in the raid. As you mentioned, it would be bad form to suicide to win an off-spec item rather than let someone else win it for their primary spec. On the other hand, it would be fine to suicide for an off-spec item rather than let it go to /roll between folks who all need it for off-spec too.

I'm essentially done with all of Naxx except Frostwing Lair. If Broken Promise were to drop from 4H before Last Laugh off KT I might try to pick it up, but honestly the last 2 upgrades before 3.1 that I'm shooting for both drop off KT.
