This came up on WoW.com last month so you may have seen it already, but Rankwatch (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/rankwatch.aspx) is an extremely useful addon.
What it does is give you message if you use a spell of lower than max rank. If a person in your party does, it sends them a whisper.
Now that downranking is less than useless (in anything less than a very gimmicky PvP way at times) it can be a big boost to make sure you're using your top rank spells. Also, your off-spec doesn't update spell ranks on it's own, so a nice alert can be a big help.
